in the lion king 2, simba exhiled all the lionesses and lions who favoured scars rule over simbas into the wastlands. simbas daughter meets a wastland cub called kovu, who was scars heir. simba forbids nala to go anywhere near him, while kovu is brainwashed that simbas evil and he must get close to kiara (simbas daughter) to get at simba and kill him.
later, as adults, kovu saves kiaras life and tries to get into the pride. simba puts him on probation, and kovu and kiara fall in love seriously, kovu and simba develop a father-son relationship, and while on a walking talk, simba accidently walks himself into a trap. kovu gets the credit, but they both fight together and return to pride rock. kovu is exhiled by both prides and has to run of into the desert. kiara sneaks out of her bedroom window (a hold in the wall that she widened), and persuades him to come back. they arrive in the middle of a war, they decide to talk it out, simbas girlfriend tries to save kovu's evil mom, but she falls into the waterfall and dies.
oh, yeah, and kovu gets a cool scar-like scar on his face in the fight with simba as well. I'll get a picture.
