okay, we all know that after you release vincent in twilight town he dissapears. hows about he then turns up in radiant garden and says that he's looking for Xeanhort, who trapped him in the capsule in the first place. you fill him in on the events of KHII, and then Leon comes along, and attacks Vincent, calling him a traitor. you get to see them fight, and then Yuffie comes along and asks Sora what's going on. Merlin breaks up the fight, saying that if it wasn't for Vincent opposing his employer, Xeanhort, when he did, none of them would even have made it to Traverse Town. he then explains that Vincent was hired to protect the body of Ansem, and when he went missing, Xeanhort hired him. he then learned about the heartless factory and, once Xeanhort became a heartless, he fought the Heartless Ansem and destroyed its physical body in the process. however, he was then too weak to stop Xemnas from altering him and trapping him in a jar in twilight mansion.

the heaertless ansem was killed by sora though, wait, that's because riku was possesed... mabye...

actually, he lived on in riku. ansems heartless body was destroyed, but it lived on. it has a habit of doing that.
