I reckon we should have a load of secret societies, with main characters in loads of them, but they're mostly just jokes. however, joining one gets you loads of free privileges, IE secret tunnels, Free stay at inns run by other members, new items, and possibly new skills. Here are a few ideas so far
1) Brotherhood of Cool
Description: The coolest of all secret societies, the Brotherhood of Cool are the very definition of the word. They won't even let you inside the monastery unless you are wearing Cool Shades to protect you from all the Cool Lazers. Spelt with a 'Z'. They are so Cool, they can say 'Yo', wearing a leather jacket and Cool Shades and still make young women swoon. Too Cool for you. Most members keep their Shades in their pockets to protect the innocent 'Squares'
Initiation item: Cool Shades
Notable Members: Joe Cool (AKA Snoopy), Cloud Strife, Auron, Rude
Head: Tristan Legend
Not much is known about the infamous Tristan Legend except that he is more
handsome, more charismatic, and more talented than anyone on earth.
2) The Masters of the Art
Description: A very strict and powerful organisation run by a man known only as Jackson, King of Perverts. You can probably guess the nature of this organisation already, but there is far more to it that that. These people are Masters. It requires huge amounts of Self Control, Discipline, and Perversion to make it up in the ranks of this organisation. There are police, artists, architects, actors, computer programmers, politicians, fire fighters and legendary figures in here, Men and Women, all Working for one cause.
Initiation Item: Voyeur Specs
Notable Members: Ryoji, Happosai, Roy Mustang, Rikku
Head: Jackson, A Man with more connections than a queen bee, arguably one of the most influential men throughout all the worlds, and yet he still attends Destiny High. The closest thing you are likely to get to Bond, he keeps his identity secret to most Outsiders, and has all kinds of gadgets to help is cause. He has a Remote that causes anything it is targeted it to catch fire.
3) The Order of Librarians
Description: An order of the greatest Librarians and masters of knowledge and wisdom, Set to the preservation of books and knowledge, they can also travel freely through the dangers of L space, through the equation Knowledge = Power = Energy = Mass x C2 = Space = Time, allowing them to go anywhere and anywhen to any library, be it the great library of Valencia, or a bookshelf in someone's bedroom, Possibly the most secret of the secret societies.

Any other ideas, Note them down in a simmilar manner. they can be as silly as you like.
